1. Yes, I used it to watch football highlights the morning after a game that I missed. I used Youtube as it wasn't scheduled, free and easily accessible.

2. Justin beibers song, Baby, has 478 million views. Its so popular as Justin already has a huge fan base developed from youtube. He has over a million dislikes , this shows many people will sit through it just to add a comment of dislike, although he is getting attention its negative just as much positive.

3.A recent news story is the Royal wedding. I found a video on Youtube claiming that it was all set up from the start and that Kate Middleton's mother had planned for Kate to marry Will. I don't believe that this is a reliable source as her words could have been twisted and there is no evidence that she actually said these things.

4. Youtube is affecting celebrity culture as its a platform to gossip about them , share news stories about the latest scandal much like heat magazine. It also allows celebrity to get there own message across and share there music e.t.c. It allows them to target there fans in a wide scale. This could have positive effects on a celebrity but equally negative effects due to there image being unpopular.

5. Yes I do believe Youtube allows many social groups to be represented. This is because it has such a wide range of videos that are accessible. However, with the 18 or under age barrier for certain videos, this can block the different social groups.

6. People turn to youtube to express them selves as youtube is a platform in which your videos could potentially be heard by millions of people. This could benefit you in your career or just allow you to express your self in film making or weird and quirky videos.
