Henry Jenkins made a few good points throughout the clip, which were:

Teenagers demand convergence, when they want it, where they want it and how they want it. Companies try and keep up with this demand.
we put all our intelligence together to build and archive
The Internet enables us to expand our knowledge world wide

Media can change representations and the people perceptions of people ad cultures

consumers adapt technology to own needs
