2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5aSa4tmVNM
It's popular because it's recent news and involves a celebrity being a bit mental, it cannot be commented on because it was uploaded by a Tv station ABC news. 7 million people have watched it and almost 2000 likes.
3) Again the Charlie Sheen videos there is a lot of information both from him and from various news companies. Yes i think the information is reliable because we get most of it from Charlie Sheen himself talking in an extensive interview.
4) It is making it really easy to become a celebrity as it seems that anybody can be a celebrity, also celebrities can be exploited all over youtube especially if there are videos of them doing something they shouldn't. Anyone can post anything about them on their own accounts voicing their opinions.
5) Yes, I think that Youtube has allowed many social groups to get some sort of recognition as anybody is allowed to upload videos of pretty much anything they want also because of that people who would have never had access or any knowledge of a particular social group can see 1000's of video on any one subject.
6) People go to Youtube to express themselves because it has the biggest audience for them to show their videos to, plus it is free and not very difficult to upload videos either.
7) I think that Charlie Mcdonnel is very popular because he is quite funny while appealing to all audiences (basiclly doesn't swear). His videos are very well edited, so like Olga Kay said having urms and thinking time ruins a video, his videos are quick and calculated therefore stay interesting. Also he does some quite inpressive editing like in the video where he does a duet with himself.
